“Where the family’s recipe is turned into delectable sauces”
AYAM PIRU Sauce factory first started in 1955, from a quaint spot in Jelutong, on Penang Island itself.
It all started from a cottage industry; everything was homemade - from the selection of fine soya beans, to the unhurried koji-making, and lastly, to the brewing of the delectable sauces; all done with the patience, and care for generations.
In 1955, the operations expanded and a new site was opened on the mainland, catering to more demand. Despite this, we remain committed, maintaining our heritage and quality - still going through the unhurried soya sauce making process.
